Alexandra Breckenridge

AlexandraAlexandra Hetherington Breckenridge is an American actress. She began her acting career in supporting roles in the teen comedy films Big Fat Liar (2002, 2006) and She's the Man (2006). Later, she played reporter Willa McPherson in the FX series Dirt and also played a minor role in the short-lived series The Ex List. In the first season, she was the lead of Moira O'Hara in the role of a young Moira and in the second season, she played Kaylee. She portrayed Jessie Anderson in the AMC series The Walking Dead and Sophie in the NBC series This Is Us. She has voiced various characters on Family Guy, an animated comedy. Since 2019she has appeared as Melinda "Mel" Monroe in the Netflix series Virgin River. Breckenridge was raised in Darien in Connecticut. She moved to California with her mother at the age of 10. The family moved around for one year before eventually moving to Mill Valley. Breckenridge began to take an interest in singing, acting and photography around the age of 13. She moved to Los Angeles with her mother when she was 15 years old, to pursue her acting career.
